I am fairly new to web publishing. I have a very basic knowledge of HTML. I am setting up my first website home page and I keep getting this "A" with a line over it at the beginning of various sentences in the text. Can anyone help me with this? I go into the code and clear it out and re-publish and it comes back.

Are you designing it yourself with an HTML editor such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage? Or are you just pasting the html into a template? If you want to send me the HTML code you have, I'll be happy to take a look at it and test it out in Dreamweaver.

i've faced this thing before :) i already check my HTML tag carefully and nothings wrong if i view it in Dreamweaver everything looks fine but when i view it from browser That "Á" appears in the end of the page.
the best way is to solve this is to rewrite your tag manually **TAG NEAR THE Á APPEAR**, this maybe because of in foreign local setting [ where the template is made ] not every keyboard button will produce the character like it should be for example in NL [ netherland setting ] when you hit "'" for once nothing is appear but when you hit "'" then "Á" or other button the special characters will be inserted.
