Why don't you just buy a calling card to use for international calling that way it doesn't go on the cell bill. The international calls to your friend in India is what's messing up the bill. I call my sister in England, I'm in the US and I buy a calling card, it costs 5 dollars and I get 4 hours talk time and I use the cell to make the call, it doesn't go on the cell bill at all. This is not fair for your parents. Get a card they will be happy.

I'm agree with,
This is more useful to make some kind of control on your bills.

man thats alot of time on the phone. i dont have a phone at the present moment and im loving it! lol there are times that i wish i did, but then there are times when im visiting someone and were in a deep converesation an then there phone rings and we are interupted, or when im watching amovie i waited all week to see and its on cable so i cant pause it and then the phone rings and even if i avoided it it may be important so i have to pick it up and miss the movie. when i did have a phone it seemed as i recived all my calls when i was in the bathroom, or in the processing of doing dishes. both times were its complicated to be on the phone.

I am not very much a phone person. I prefer to talk in person. But I use the phone to keep in touch with every one and basically use it when neccessary.
For international call I alwasy use card and VOIP service. They are cheap than youdirectly talk from your phone. And also qualities are good too.

Well, I guess I'm one of the ones that proves the stereotype wrong, because I hate phones. I honestly do. When someone calls me, it better be for a reason. I have better things to do than sit on the phone for hours on end. And this isn't a new thing ... I was like this as a teen, too. I would just rather talk in person than sit with a phone glued to my ear.
I have a cellphone, purely so the school can get ahold of me during the day if I'm out, but I do it the smart way. Its prepaid, so I never use what I haven't already put on it. That way I don't get any surprising cell phone bills. As a matter of fact, that way I don't get a bill at all.
I recently got a cellphone for my 2 oldest kids (11 & 12) so that they have a way to reach me when they're out doing their paper route, or at friends. It's prepaid as well, so no surprises from them.

That bill is just common in the Philipines. WE know a lot of guys here who spends around 5000 pesos on their personal cellphone bills alone. Not to mention those businessmen who has bills up to 20000.00 pesos. I personally pays only around 600.00 a month. thatm's around $12.00 . Isn't that great? LOL
