The word I most detest, and it's used all too frequently, is the word "paedophile", or it's misspelt equivalent, "pedophile".
By derivation, paedophile means "a person who has a love of, or a fascination, with children". (From the Latin "paed" meaning child, and "phile", a person who has a love of, or a fascination with a subject, e.g. bibliophile, a lover of books, anglophile, francophile, etc.).
The correct term for this specie of monster is "paederast".

actually either, nonce, monster or simply child molester works much better for me anyway
