feedback on freelance work exchange

One of the first things I learned when I entered into this business was to keep the funds flowing in my direction. There have been times when I've paid for a magazine, book or newsletter subscription to enhance my work, but that's where I've drawn the line. There are a LOT of writing jobs boards out there that will work better for you.

Hi cher913 I joined freelancework exchange for their 7 day trial for $2.95US. However I was not impressed at all. They said they had thousands of jobs available and it was not true - no where near it, would be lucky to have seen 100 jobs. I applied for about 15 jobs and got no replies from any of them. I think it is a big rip off and I cancelled before they charged my credit card for the full $29.95US each month. Don't do it, keep your money.

Nope not me. Although i did want to wish you goodluck with and i remember reading one of my friends from list was apart of such thing. i really forget who but i'll have a search and see if i can come across who and see if they know anywhere.
