OK, I am surgeon and that is bleedind disorder disease. So, you must take attention if you are injured because there will be much bleeding. If you are going to do any surgical intervention even minor operation, you must tell the anaethest and the surgeon to take care.
Best regards
Good luck

It actually isn't really a bleeding disorder, so I doubt you are a surgeon. Ehlers-Danlos means you have trouble making collagen. Some people who have it are just hyperflexible....they type that I have, I am flexible, bruise easily, and am near-sighted, There can be complications with bleeding in the very, very severe forms; but in most cases, it is really not that bad.

Hi, I have Hypermobility Type Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (formerly known as Type 3 EDS). In the UK it's also known as Hypermobility Syndrome. (For anyone who wants to know about this disorder there's a great website at www.hypermobility.org)
I was diagnosed in 2001, aged 28. I'd been suffering from joint pains and weird sensations for years but were told they were just growing pains. People had always commented on how scarily flexible I was and so when I found out about EDS/HMS it all fell into place.
