Have you ever had a deja-vu? What is this phenomenon in your opinion?

I've often had these feeling generally named "deja-vu" and i've always asked myself why these kind of things happen. i'm not a naive kind of person but could it be real?i mean could it be possible that we have already experienced these things, that seem so familiar,in another life?

A lot of times....there are moments in my life that I find myself saying "this happen to me before" or "i've been here before", though everything seems to be blury. Just, yesterday, I went to a store, the store clerk asked me how many packs of chips would I like to buy... I suddenly felt that this has happenned before.

i agree...there are many times when we have this kind of feelings....but what is the reason for them to appear in our minds even if they are unreal?what do you think?

A friend told me that this deja vu is not really true (though I do not believe him). He said it is only because a part of our left brain processed a but slow...so somehow...it send us signals that this happened before...familiar situation...but thruth is we are recongnizing the same situation. He told and explained a lot of things to me but I didn't bother to listen to his entire lecture.

Well it may sound silly but someone once told me that before you are born God maps out your whole life for you and tells you where your life will be headed so when you get a feeling of deja vu its just you remembering the story from before you were born. It may sound a bit far fetched but I liked it. It used to happen quite often when I was in college but not anymore. Does that mean Ive somehow taken the wrong path at some point than the one I was supposed to?

i don't think it means you have taken the wrong path. maybe you just surprised God with your life decision and He just changed his mind about you.
i'm not quite good at this i guess but if it's true what you heard, maybe this is the explanation ;))
thanks for posting!

Foremost, I'm quite relieved to discover that I'm not the only one in this situation. Personally, I'm not sure if what I have experienced for several occasions could be appropriately classified as 'deja-vu'. But from the looks of it, I guess I really have experienced 'deja-vu'.
There was one instance, when I told my spouse about a dream which felt like it's in the real world. Naturally, he didn't believe me. But after several days, it happened like how it transpired in my dream and he was amazed and surprised at the same time.
Like many other people, I also get a creepy feeling about it; and that's basically the reason why I am somewhat hindered to learn more about it and understand things related to the 'psychic' world. But honestly, I am curious about issues like the body or spiritual body going out of the physical body, knowing the future beforehand, supernatural abilities, and such. I feel that studying about these things and relating them with my experiences might help me understand myself even more.
