Today the word digital has occupied most part of the world and so is the world of music. How many of still listen to tapes and cds? HOw many of switched to digital music? How many of now listen to internet music? How mnay actually buy the music??
Well for me it is almost free because i dont buy the music at all but still enjoy the latest music legally. Yes thanks to internet that i am able to listen to latest in music at just one click and need not pay at all. And how is it all legal? They generate revenue through online music by audio advertising and this allows them to buy rights and stream the songs online.
Now what do you have to say about your preferences?

i do listen to my cds a lot, but when i am online (which is most of the time) i do tend to listen to online radio a lot of the time. Online radio is free, so why not listen to it? They say the best things in life are free, and so why not take advantage of that fact. There is so much more choice on the online radio (granted you can't choose the tracks) but you can choose the genre of the music you want to listen to. There is more variety than my cd collection has to offer. So rather than buy, i choose digital music.I only really buy the music of the artists a REALLY like, as i do like to support them, and own the cds. Other than that i just listen to the music digitally.

I haven't bought a cassette in years. It's all CDs and digital music for me. I think digital music is great. Though, I don't believe that people should download entire albums without paying for it it. It's important to support the artists you're listening to. So, use iTunes, people!

Cassettes are old school I still have some but rarely listen to them becuase it's easier just to listen to CDs for onethink, cassettes are bad becuase to get to 1 song you have to go through all those other songs on that side. With CDs you just slide right by all those songs you don't want or don't like. I also agree with hitzphillygirl you should use iTunes for the artists, I believe artists these days are getting ripped off by these online radio's and downloads.

Listening to music through internet, I haven't done yet . I used to buy casettes and CDs or get CDs written with favourite songs. I have heard that music sites are not at safe and downloading from such sites may cause virus infection. Fearing that I haven't yet done that. Tell us about the safe and free sites from which music can be downloaded, please.

Internet has evolved into another phase where it is more than just browsing. Now a days almost all of the sites have upgraded the safety measures so go ahead and download music at your will. You can also go for online streaming music if you dont want to download them.

You will most probably find me on pandora, where you create your own music channel. You find a band you like and get to hear similar bands play and find new favourites. It is brilliant, and you dont pay anything.
I love having it on when im tired or bored, writing or just need to relax.

I only download music from legit sites like iTunes. I love it! Any song I want at the snap of a finger. I think it's totally worth 99 cents a song.

I dont use cds anymore, lugging that big cd player around was annoying. I usually download my music now and listen to them on my ipod.

Most of the time now, my music is on the internet. I only listen to it on the radio when I am driving. Since I spend a lot of time on the puter, I either listen with my ear phones, or am listening to the radio.

hi
now everyone is going to conected with internet bt not everyone is connecting to digital music..
if u are asking abt digital music then it is a sure thing i can say that only 25% people who are connected to internet
are looking for the music from internet
other people are dependent on the tapes or recorders
