Carpet or Hard Wood Floors

Hello there Sarge!!! Both carpet and hardwood are easy to maintain, as long as you keep up with it. Remember a clean floor is a happy floor!!! The dry Swiffer works fantastic to keep hardwood floors looking spiffy. Also Berber carpet is one of the top selling carpets on the market because stains are able to be cleaned from it quite easily. Personally i like both depending on the area they are located. Hardwood floors look lovely in areas like dining rooms! Otherwise i like carpet because it is soft and easy on the peds!

We used to have carpet all over the house before but me and my hubby decided to chnage the lounge area into wood flooring and it is really very nice, it looks good and no worries of spilling liquid cos you'll just have to wipe it, easy to maintain as well, you just need to sweep the floor and thats it. Now we want the kitchen and dining area change into wooden flooring as well.

I'd rather have hard wood floors. I like our carpet but it is hard to keep looking clean. We have three dogs and they some times have accidents on the carpet and i hate the smell. I would rather have hard wood floor. al you would have to do is sweep.

I prefer hard wood floors than carpet. I find it easier to clean that carpet and it looks better. Plus the fact that my two kids have asthma.

I have hard wood floor laminate and i found that thats easyier to clean other than hovering

hard wood floors, way much easier to clean and maintain, whereas, the carpet are much harder to clean by vaccum or even by wtaer, but u can clean the wood floor by the wet mob as well.

I feel to maintain a carpet is very tough as it absorbs so much of dust, while hard floors it is easier to broom and sweep.I prefer hard floor.

i would prefer carpet rather hard wood coz it is easy to clean and lives longer

I LOVE the look of hard wood floors..they are beautiful! But, they are a pain to take care of! Carpets are easier, but they get stained so easy.
