my real name for instance is Tudor (in romanian) and it comes from the greek word "theos" and "doros", which mean "gift of god". What does your name stand for? If you don't know ask me and i will do my best to find out.

My name is originally Greek and means "bringer of peace". I always hated my name but now that I am a little older and a little wiser, I see that my name fits perfectly. I am all for bringing peace amongst feuding family members and friends. I try to find a way of compromise before I lash out.

My name is Elisa and it means "dedicated to God". I always hated my name since nobody could pronounce it wrong, but I rather like it now.

It is Spanish. My parents did not name me because of the meaning or the heritage, though. They wanted Lisa, but my grandma wanted something different so they added the E on the front. :)
