wheeww! It's worth my time reading and if given the chance to award that man with creative writing he got it on the bag right away!!!
He really saw some beauty and uniqueness of filipino and in a way that we are not hurt or irritated but entertained for thier are some sense of truth on his article.
I really love his article will even ask him for a signature of it when opportunity allows me I would definetly print that article and let him sign in and keep it as a remembrance worth keeping.

Yes! It was really a stress-reliever! I couldn't stop laughing while i was reading it! I love the part about Filipino nicknames, the "doorbell names."
I love the creativity of the author. If given the chance, i will also ask for his autograph. I also think that the government should give him some reward for the article he wrote. "One of the Best" indeed! Let's just hope.. :)

This article is so hilarious, paogutierrez. I love it that a foreigner like Matthew Sutherland can assimilate that well in our country. He has such a clear view of what Filipinos are, and he is right: the moment he starts eating balut, then he's one of us. i wonder if he's done that yet? or maybe he needs a $50,000 motivation like in Fear Factor? (LOL)
