windows. apple in my mind os 'outdated' and had WAY less features than windows. windows also runs alot more programs and if alot easier to use. make sure not to get windows Vista if you play games. it is extremely bad for gameplay ...

how come? i mean i heard vista is made for the 64 bit units that are faster and more reliable for everything, even games. but i do know that aplle does not suppert all the programs windows can. thank's for the advice none the less.

in terms of compatibility and user friendliness i think windows is the best. windows is much more easy to use especially for a newbie, the menu'sand tools and are more accessible. windows support is clearly superior as it can password-protect the .zip that you created, and you can browse the contents of .zip file before you decompress it. windows supports most of the hardware drivers today and most of the softwares especially games are more compatible running on windows. the one thing that i like about apple is it's environment effects on menus, tools, icons etc. overall for me windows is the best ^_^

so what? the only thing apple does better is look good? that's not a really big plus. i don't really care how good it looks. i just want it to work well.

Some of my friends prefer Apple, others prefer Windows. My boyfriend and I also use Windows. We're used to it, and we like it. I'm sure Macs are just as good, but I am going to stick with what is familliar.

Mac dosen't support all the available software,if you are looking for high end multimedia then you should go for Mac,or if you are a regular user windows is the best.
