Britain (or more specifically England) Is clearly the greatest place in the world to live. With its beautiful rolling hills, majestic coastline and Historic cities home to the wittiest, most charming, attractive and brightest people on the planet do you think that this is what heaven is truly like? Do you all long to be just like us? what is perfection compared to this?

Oh, I agree with you, that England is truly a beautiful place to live. I live quite close to the South Downs, fourteen miles north of Brighton, to be precise.
I love to roam the countryside, especially in Spring and Autumn, when new life begins in all things of nature, and also when it ends. I love the spring greens and yellows, and equally the beautiful bronzes, reds and yellows of autum. I also take great pleasure and peace, in visiting the historical, monolithic and neolithic sites that we have in every corner of the country. Stone Henge is majestic, as is Glastonbury Tor and Abbey. Then, there's the Brighton Pavilion. Wow... shades of India, in England. A truly beautiful and historical buillding.
There are so many places I could mention, that I think I might be able to build up a whole blog just about England and its history. What a nice thought!
Thank you very much for this discussion Smuggeride. It provokes some great memories. I don't know whether England is comparable to Heaven... maybe Paradise, huh? lol.
Brightest Blessings.

thanks for the reply, My home town is actually right smack bang in the middle of what will be the South Downs national Park. I love it when i go home and get to go cycling up into the downs. Most amazing views right on my doorstep

I heard about that but never really see it for myself so I can't say. My husband is British and so I'm always flooded with these postcards about England from his relatives. I wonder what they will say (or you in this regard) if I said that I'd love to visit and live in France LOL kidding!
I miss my homeland the tropical beach and exotic fruits. As much as you love your homeland, that's how much I love mine.

Moods change from month to month. This was written in February sometime around my birthday and i didn't have that much work to do and all was good. Things change, for example i'm in a much better mood today than two days ago when i said life stinks, things have gone well, revision is moving on apace and i actually think i might now pass
