how not to get scammed

some people in runescape are cheap and try to steal your password and ban your account.
some scams are
to friends are in the bank and one is selling and item such as a flatmer hammer for like 500k and some is buying the sameone for 1.2mil so you buy the hammer and the person buying suddenly loggs and you just lost 500k thinking you could get rich.
another one is they say the can make a member for free all they need is your pass so the can scan the lunix server enter some info and bam your a member but then when you try to logg on yor password does not work. You just lost your account.
someone says that they know where a rare item in the wildy is and they have made millions getting and selling it but when you get out there you get snared and them killed losing all you stuff and the guy calling you a noob as you die.

I set a discussion tonight, as I'm extremely upset that I was dropped a virus last week, and whilst I was offline, somebody apparently took my Pogo name... don't ask me how they got the passwor... and went into a Pogo room bad-mouthing somebody. I won't repeat what was said because it disgusts me, but today, I received termination of account warnings from EA, because of this. I am distraught. Who gets so much pleasure out of wrecking somebody else's life? Who thinks it funny to have your account for which you have just paid a year's membership, terminated? Why DO they do it? I have no idea who it is, but they've reduced me to tears, what with the virus... all the hassle of having to delete my drivers and reconfigure them. I was offline almost a week, and then I come back to find somebody is blackening my name in chat rooms... I'm depressed, to say the least, and most hurt by these actions.

Uh, just so you know, every1 alredy knows all this stuff. Every RSER here is like lvl 50+, who never get scammed cuz they're to high level for some1 to try to scam because the scammer thinks that the the scamee knows all the scams.
What a mouthful! lol
