How fast can you write a song?

Others find it really hard but if i push and concentrate to it, i can finish a song in less than an hour.

A day or sometimes weeks to finish a song. I can make it in 5 minutes but I will not satisfy with it.

Well I have actually put together my best songs in less then 20 minutes. That includes full chorus, probabaly about 2 16-bar(lined) verses, it usually runs about 3 1/2 minutes when recorded. If I have something in mind, it usually just connects together like a magnet near metal.
