I think US is trying to become godfather without knowing its position. Its becoming selfboasting. It always try to supress developing countries though the basis of its economy lies in the work done by the intellectuals of those developing countries. This country has sercastically claimed itself a super power by making false amendments which it forces on other countries whether its in terms of economy, political issues and other personal matter of other countries.

Hi, I personally think that you are right. The gist of sovereignty of any other country has never been recognised by USA. With all their intel agents, they created the IRAQ War. Now, its proven they are wrong. But being THE super power will they ever admit it? Of course not. They even say its justified!
Does the USA have nuclear power? YES! But why is it ok for them to have it and not the other countries? Simply because they are self righteous. They think that they are THE ONLY ONES who will be resposible enough to handle such power and NO ONE else can do justice with it.
During the Clinton Administration, it's 'MAKE LOVE NOT WAR'. During the Bushes Admin (Senior & Junior) it's WAR ALL THE WAY!! It's easy to blame terrorists. They are the only scapegoats the USA can find for their INTEL that's proven to be screwed.

Hi Undefined, just to make 1 thing clear, i'm not a US citizen. Therefor i have zero right to vote or not vote him :) However, the facts collected years before the deadly attack was indeed covered up. Gives the Bushes a good enough reason to go to war.
I'm sure background checks were done for all presidential candidates. Especially a candidate whose father was the president.
If you look at the campaign for presidents, governors, mayors, etc.. to me, it looks more like a popularity campaign and each candidate with their own hidden agendas.

from a foreigner's point of view, yes US is realy becoming someone who thinks they're the most powerful people on earth. from sending troups to places with internal political conflict that USA has no business of, to stopping a country from researching on nuclear weapon. c'mon, the world is not just about USA. each country has it's own conflict that they need to fix with themselves, and only they have the full knowledge of what's really happening inside their own country right.... it's really not good for US anymore to mingle with other country's own business. it's quite annoying. to be honest.

Yes I think so they do... and they should. I have read in the book "Japan at the summit" that the US is being paid (not only through funds) by the European countries for the security of the democratic western countries. That's why US has to maintain its image of being intimidating to scare off enemies (which are the communist countries)... The US have to do it or else the security of the democratic nations on the international level will be at risk.
