I LOVE origami! I have many books on the subject, and have taught the basics to my children and grandchildren... once they know how, they can do amazing folds!! We decorated our Christmas tree with origami animals and stars once, using foil papers... it was beautiful! I like to make ornaments to put on Christmas and birthday presents, too... and the kind you do with money is great for a gift! Go to About.com and search 'money origami'... they have lots of designs!
I would like to believe in the legend... for that much patience, a person should be rewarded!

You can search 'money origami instructions', 'paper folding', and just 'origami instructions' and find LOTS of sites! They show step-by-step how each design is made, and you can print them or save them in a file and have origami all the time!
I'm working on opening a papercraft store... origami is usually too delicate to ship, but I will use some to decorate my products. I'll post when it opens!

I love origami I am just still learning. I am not very good yet. But I do find it a very beautiful craft. And as for the legend I don't know if it is true or not but I find it a interesting story.
