Something about net neutrality

I've read about this a while ago. Do you really think it is fair for ISP's to actually slow down or filter bandwidth coming from sites who do not pay them?

Net neutrality is a joke! If this actually passes this will be HORRIBLE from the consumer. Anyone who believes otherwise is not educated in this subject or is a fool. The internet is a free media and should stay that way. If anyone allows net neutrality to pass, we will be allowing companies to limit what we can and cannot do in our own homes! Isn't bad enough people are buying vista and giving up their rights? Why make it worse?

hmmm, well, i am not implying that it is true but otherwise, the ISP's really does have the capability to implement such a thing if they really wanted it and we, the consumers wouldn't be able to do anything(except change ISP's of course, but is quite difficult, especially in third world countries) i mean, this concept really isn't a joke if you really think about it.

I didn't mean that net neutrality isn't real, it is. I meant the concept is ridiculous. There is actually a bill in the US that is trying to get net neutrality to become a common place thing and the whole idea behind the bill is misrepresented.

hmmm, too bad its only in the US, we in the third world countries would also want that kind of bill but sheeesh, seems like forever before we even get laws about the internet and stuff. internet criminals here still pretty much are golden
