Do you play cards with your family and friends?

I like to play cards depending on the game. My sister is a card freak. She has so many card games to play at her house - I think she has influenced her husband to where he loves to play cards as well. My dad grew up playing all different kinds of card games and has taught my mom some. Some of them she just doesn't "get". I know they will sit and play games, including cards, for hours after they both get home from work. They gave up playing Phase Ten when my mom accused my dad of cheating, and my dad just said she didn't understand the rules. I can't believe they banned a card game!

Yes we play cars often. We play games from gin rumy to canasta each weekend with the kids. We always take cards when we go camping and it's a great way to pass the time at night. We often play cars with friends too.

I like playing card games. I like learning new ones too. I usually play spades with my family though. My husband doesn't know how to play it but I definitely have to teach him because it is like whenever my family come around it is a spades tournament!!
