myLot?

I joined myLot 2 days back but I don't seem to understand what is it all about.I mean I clicked on a link on orkut which directed me here. The question that is in my mind is that from where do they get their revenues.I don't see much ads or popups around myLot,you know what I mean.
Orkut has much more members that myLot and if this site really has something in it than why so less members. I need to know the answer as I'm very frustrated.

My boyfriend is the one who referred me here. I asked him that question, and he explained that when you fill out your interests, they put adds up at the top for your personal interests. That's how they get their money; users buy the things that they find at the top of the page that match their interests. A very good idea, actually...
