I cannot remember the first time I lost a tooth but my daughter, who is six, is about to lose a bottom one. Is this normal, or could it be a lack in calcium?

I thought it should be earlier, but maybe I was wrong. My daughter is only three and I started worrying that she has not lost a tooth yet, hoping it will be less painful the earlier it drops.

no loseing baby teeth is normal and new tooth will break though in it's place....We do have two sets of teeth and six is when teeth start to come out....I remember when I lost my frist tooth my parnet's told me to put it under my pillow and I would get a nickle, my kids got a quarter....and my grand children got a dollar....Guess rate of inflation goes up every new generation....

I remember losing my first tooth in kindergarten or first grade, so I was 5 or 6. I think its fairly normal to lose a baby tooth at that age. But hey, vitamins never hurt, eh? :)
