Before losing series to Newzealand,in a discussion,I said Australian cricket team is not invincible.I also predicted that Sourav Ganguly is the man to be watched.I'm right on both the counts.Regarding Australia,I'd like to put on the records, one need not be astonished if the Aussies fail to reach semi finals. All the participating 8 teams are capable of winning the Cup.That Cricket is a game of uncertainties should not be forgotten.

Yeah I knew that aussies are not invincible and with their team going through lean phase beaten by england, kiwis it just shows if other teams play hard, to their potential they can surely beat ausies and it's good news before world cup as field now is wide open. And though cricket is gamer of uncertainites but team that hold their nerve under pressure and does well will win.
Besides Ganguly the way he has comeback is quite admirable. He has shown mental strength by putting past behind and scoring runs consistently helping India win games. It surely is good news for indian fans ahead of world cup as he is a matchwinner.

the review of the team status can only be done after the world cup. preparing for the biggest stage of them all has its repurcussions on a cricketer's mind. that is why we often have bizzare things happenin in pre world cup tournaments. but let the world cup start, then we'll know where exactly things stand.

Is cricket really that popular outside the US, i thought we were the only people who appreciated it.
