Which country produces the most singers that become most popular?

Without a doubt, the UK and possibly Europe as a Whole. There are so many singers in Europe but we do not hear too much about them and I guess because they are not so popular. Think of it, if we were living on their side of the World, would we not know? Do you agree that the UK produce great singers like James Blunt and .....fill in the rest.
