Websites like www.indiatimes.com are reobbing people in the name of auctions

Recently I had participated in an auction held by the website www.indiatimes.com. I had paid some money beforehand on the condition, that my money will be refunded incase my bid was overrun. But it is almost a fortnight, since i got my money back. Even continuous reminders didnt give a result. So is it worthy to trust such websites.
