Has any one heard the theory that Tim Hortons coffee contains nicotine? Apparently this is why so many people are addicted. I asked at my local coffee shop but the girl working just said " I dont think so". I personally find it hard to believe that a franchise that big could get away with such a thing and yet I know all to well just how addicting a cup of joe from timmies really is.

Tim Hortons does not have nicotine added to it. Thats absurd. They are VERY particular about the beans they buy and how they roast them. Also another thing, people who drink cream in their coffee may not realize that Tim Hortons uses 18% cream, its not half and half, or regular cream,I mean this is really creamy cream and that makes a difference how the coffee tastes. About the post on urban legends that you posted the link to.. the girl who wrote her friend works there and said it is on the videos you have to watch when you work there... well yes there are videos and it DOES NOT say there is nicotine added...

The training videos are all produced in Canada, they are altered for different laws and health codes in the U.S. but the basics are the same. I would guess the girl that said that just didnt watch closly enough or has a vivid imagination LOL :)

Yes I know what you mean I never come to town and not stop at Timmies, and it's mind boggling I have never seen it anything but packed, crowded and the drive through is always lined up. I must say haowever the staff always seems to keep the line moving fairly rapidly. Take care

Thanks for the link....found it quite intresting. If this information is correct, why do you think timmies coffee is addicting ? I mean it can't be the caffine because I do not crave brewed coffe at home nor do I order coffee in any restarant.
