I am boring when i pray

Many don't understand what prayer really is. The Greek word for prayer is "proseukmi". It means to bow to the will of another. When you pray, you should be asking for God's will in your life, just as Christ shows us in Matthew. Too many people make prayer a "wish list". Perhaps in your heart you know this isn't right. Try turning your thoughts over to His will and not your own. You may feel a greater connection to the Lord.

Are you talking about praying in private. If so, God says to come before His presence with joy and thanksgiving. And to enter into His courts with praise. Also in Psalms 16:11 it says; You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ask the Lord to make Himself real to you. And just smile when you want to be in His presence. God always hears you for He is within you. And He says He'll never leave you nor forsake you.

Did you tried talking to yourself anyway. First thing, start believeing, till the time you don't believe you can't get anything out of it. Be enthu. abt what you do, have that thrill then only you can come out of the vicious cirlcle of boredom.

First, God hears all our prayers. Don't let your feelings fool you. Second, what is your definition of prayer time? Silent Prayer? Maybe you need to take yours to the next level, why not read inspirational religious books, read the bible, thats also praying.. or do you know how to play the guitar? why not sing songs for him. That is still personal prayer time. Don't limit yourself to the conventional silent prayer. Lastly, theres a saying that, the best time to pray is when you don't feel like praying. Thats where God hears your heart. Even though your feelings get the better of you, you still try to worship and praise God. (Don't stop praying, cause Satan does not stop harassing us) Just fix your eyes on Jesus and let Him show you the way.
