Your first post speak of a good beginning. As for me i would say i prefer both since they are mutually dependent. You cannot have money and wealth without knowledge and information requires effort and money. May be in a smaller sense information is free but in a larger sense it need spending. We need to have both for a meningful and comfortable living.

Yes, many things might have the similarity between knowledge and wealth but there is one thing different the way we gather knowledge to and the way we share our wealth. Anyways your response might be useful from the readers, thank you! God bless!

Both are equally important for a successful individual. However, wealth without knowledge is of no use, since the person who has a huge amount of wealth at their disposal might actually end up losing all of his wealth by not using his knowledge. Whereas, even without wealth a person with knowledge, can use his knowledge to create his own fortune, in other words knowledge is the foundation for wealth and not vice versa.

I opt for wealth because an individual can acquire additional knowledge if he has money to spend. Wealth will get you everything you want in this life.

i think what you mean is intelligence not knowledge. knowledge can be learned, the level of intelligence is inherited. from such definition, i prefer intelligence than wealth because one's intelligence can give ways and alternatives to get wealth. i dont think a person is intelligent enough if he cannot earn his money. although with wealth one can spend for all the education needed to improve his knowledge, the knowledge developed or attained will not be of the same level as the natural knowledge that a highly intelligent person has, which can be brought to even higher levels. but which ever is inborn to a person, it will still be wasted if it is taken for granted, if it is not used in the right way or in an irresponsible manner. a lot even have both but unfortunately, are abusing it. such a waste right?

Intelligence is really different from knowledge. Intelligence is just like the way we pursue of what we have while knowledge is how we gain our intelligence. Anyways, you've got point there also. Thanks for the response. God bless!

Though I like knowledge more than wealth, I'd opt for wealth first as it will give me the base to rely upon and then go for more knowledge. Of course I'll need some knowledge before that so I may get wealth but that much is inheritary and built automatically. For me, knowledge is a very vast area and doesn't support wealth after a level. And it's more self-satisfying than a mean to earn. So, I would prefer wealth and then knowledge would become prominent after I'm free of worries for my living.

i'd definitely prefer knowledge. because if you know a lot of things, you can do almost anything and the opportunities are endless. if you have knowledge and strive hard enough to succeed, then wealth is not that hard to obtain. whereas, if you only have wealth but no or less knowledge, then you wouldn't know what to do with your wealth or how to use it well in order to benefit yourself and other people.

This is one of the best discussions started. well this all depends on how and where u were brought up.... For me its the knowledge that is the preference.mainly because the knowledge u have can say u in whatever difficulty u can get involved into. but the same is not same for the wealth. yes it can help u to some extent but not always...

I would like a balance of both. But primarily knowledge is necessary for everything, even to make wealth u need knowledge.None can succeed in a venture without being equipped with proper knowledge about it.

Knowledge is the stepping stone into wealth. Or so it says in many books. But vice versa, wealth is also the stepping stone into knowledge. In order to obtain wealth, knowledge or proficiency in certain methods of wealth creation is needed, for most of us that is. People who are not born with the silver spoons. The ability to acquire a skill that is relevant to what others want and be able to make a living out of doing it is how most people will gain wealth. But like I mention earlier, wealth is the stepping stone to knowledge also. Aptitudes, attitudes, thoughts and feelings change as you gather more and more wealth. Things that happen around you change. A better life style, more friends of the same social class, more thoughts about how to spend money. Indeed, many people's life change and they find out that they will need more then mere money to makes things work out. A fool and his money is one big party. Most people with new found wealth, tend to give it away all too soon. Nothing against charity, but how many times have we seen people strike some big cash money and give them away to charity, cos its 'the right thing to do'. these are people who IMO, are not knowledgeable about wealth. Use the money, and create more wealth be like Bill or Buffet. Only when you reach a certain level in wealth can u benefit alot of people. And only when the sources of income that you have are ever providing that you can afford to do good for a long time.

I would always prefer the knowledge rather the wealth. The wealth follows you automatically when you are powered with knowledge and not the vise-sersa. The wealth you can be robbed very easily but nobody can robb your knowledge. The knowledge always pleases you and makes your life satisfied, the wealth instead creats so many troubles and a misery in the life. A little wealth with abondent knowledge is ok but the inverse is not true.

Both are really important to live in this world. If only one has to be selected ,knowledge is very important then. Because if u have wealth and there is no knowledge and u dont know how to spend wisely or whatever then soon you will lose all your wealth. So wordly knowledge is very important to survive, hence through knowledge can gain wealth.

i would go for knowledge coz we cant buy knowledge anywhere, wealth on the other hand can be taken away from you, we can have everythin if we have knowledge; thus being knowlegeable leads you to a succesful life.. Have a nice day .. enjoy your stay here in mylot.
