Which language is the Best Language JAVA or DOT NET

I think Java will rules the world. Because we can get it for free and there are a lot of source in internet.

Ofcourse ..but if Microsoft also plans to give the .Net as open source the what will be the condition...is java success due to its open source or any other,,

Yes definitely Java can rule, its a major language and free to get tools, but its to big language, i love it

Obviously Java is best as it is platform independent and more secure.I dont have much fate on microsoft technology.As microsofts own site can get hacked then how can we beleave on its products.Java has more utility and over all it is open source and we can make changes aw per requirement.
