I'm sending my younger brother to college and sometimes give out a weeks allowance for him especially if my parents are having a hard time with their finances in the province. I may not be giving the amount straight to them but I guess in a way a could consider myself as one of you guys who share your salary with your mom and dad... :)

Yes, I do sometimes even it's hard for me because I am married already and have a baby. They do not require me to but I did it on my own free will. It is because I couldn't bare to see them struggling everyday while I live a good life. I just felt I have to help them somehow that's why I still work to be able to give them even a little of my salary.

thanks for the response...thats also in my mind, its just natural for sons and daughters to think of there parents..sometimes when i do receive my salary and separate some for my savings account and find out they are in financial problems i would give the amount for my savings...then i would feel great..God Bless

I used to just offer any amount anytime i am able. My parents dont ask from me either when i started working. But i know that they are in need especially in terms of allowances for my brothers, i am willing to give in some amount or share something so i can ease their problems a bit.
