I really don't think so for the simple reason, that there wouldn't have been the Old grown up Rose to start the story in first place. Who would have narrated the whole story which involves so much of action, thrill, technicalities , uniqueness and romance? Writers they think a lot and are much cleverer than what we all think about them! It was very evident that by killing Rose story couldn't be presented the way it was ! Do you agree?
Thanks for the discussion!

There is a possibility that they could have made it through together. But if you were in their situation, with the onrush of events, you'll understand that no one can think enough of the best way to deal with the situation. Everyone was making it through such a rough time, not with the aid of reason but, with one's instincts and the will to survive. Those survivors do not have a clear picture of how they made it through if it was a true experience.

there was a beautiful and huge ship named titanic in which two youngs
jack and rose became lovers but the nature caused jack to die for rose.this is a real love which is shown by the nature.
love is a gift and when you devote your life to the one you like its like theres nothing between you, this is very nice!

i hated to see jack die in the movie, but i think it was the way it was meant to be. jack changed rose's life and that was part of the plot of the movie. jack gave rose the courage to live her life as she wanted. jack wanted rose to live, to experience life and live for him. that is true love and sacrifice.
if jack could have gotten on the wood piece that rose was on, maybe they would have both lived. but there was no room. and holding on to each other in the water wouldn't have worked. it was just too cold. i, too, have wondered about what would have happened if jack had lived/
another thing i wonder about is whether rose ever saw her mother again. what do you think?
