What do you feel about big business? Do you trust them or feel that they are corrupt?
I have worked for a number of companies and they have all been not entirely honest with the information and figures that they supply.
I have seen profits overstated by millions of pounds and when I questioned it, told to keep my mouth shut.
I have seen companies lie to their customers about the benefits of offers. But once the customer has taken the offer, they can never change back.
I have seen the salaries that directors take for themselves and the way that they have treated their staff. Then staff told if they make comments about salaries they will be fired.
Why do we keep doing business with people that we do not trust?

No big business is completely corruptionless. Most of them are corrupt to varying degrees and I have seen enough of them. Of course, the situation in the developing countries are worse. In India, all the big business have reached their slots through lie, malpractice, economic offence, political pampering, mafia-link, criminal conspiracy and so on. The situation is particularly worse in states like West Bengal in INDIA, which perhaps has the highest concentration of dishonest businessmen & inustrialists. Presently, there is a big-house and rulling-party nexus going on to grab poor farmers fertile lands in the name of improvement, SEZs, industrial hub and mega-townships. Therefore, never be in doubt, actually speaking, all big businesses are corrupt - only the degree of corruptness varies from case to case and country to country.
