star not changing colour

my star colour is not changing it has been eight for almost a month - what do i do to increase my reputation ?

my star is 6 and persistant for almost 2 months now i guess it depends on rating of other members on your discussions

i really dont know what the star means?how would you rate someones rating?im a member of mylot for 3 weeks and still i dont what the star mean.they say its all about rating.

It same with me, from the first time i have my start it never change, the color stay the same, maybe that is because of i do not post much quality answer or topics.

i think you should respond more than post new discussion topics. this way, the respondees read your posts and rate them based on their level of appreciation (either a plus or a minus). this is quite a booster in promoting your stars to a level higher or more...

Same with me .My star is 8 for more than three weeks .Even one time when i am was at 7 it changes to 6 but now it goes up to 8 .I think that the above levels of star are difficult to achieve .That is why it takes time .But hope that it will change in a week or two .

mine is the same case. i think u should respond to some discussions and rate to the other people who have responded you. this i will help because i m also doing the same.
