Why We Get Married?

This is the question which comes in my mind almost everytime when I see a married couple quarrelling or fighting. Haven't they married each other after accepting goods and bads of each other. Most of the time the reason of quarrel is a very small one, which can be easily ignored but still people used to stretch the topic so much that it is sometimes unable for the persons to live with each other and they get divorced. Everyone says that quarrelling is a part of married life, then "Why we get married" or if we get married why we quarrel. I will be grateful for the married people on the site for their views as well as the views of unmarried people who are looking to marry in future, that what they think about the married life?
