Have you met another myLotian in person? Would you?

Well, besides two of my friends who are mylotians as well, I haven't met others. I might not want to meet other mylotians for security reasons. It's enough for me to talk to them through mylot and exchange point of views here than in person.

Good post! I didn't meet anyone of MyLot but I suppose it can happen. I like to meet someone fo my MyLot's friends in the true life. I have one or two friends (taht I don't know) that are not too far from my city. It can be funny. Maybe I'll ask them what they think about.

I met my fiance on facebook (kinda like myspace lol)! I would definately meet someone if they were very nice and lived around where I do. I think I have good judgement on how a person is from talking to them online.

Yeah I have, my fiancé and I (who is also a myLotian) actually met a couple of fellow myLotians today, it was nice to put faces to names and actually have the opportunity to talk to them in person. This is not a first for us as we have several friends that we mainly have contact through the internet but also visit and come visit us and others that we meet up with from online forums every few months.

I haven't met anyone yet here in myLot. For other reasons excluding dating, I would really like to meet those members who just live nearby. It would be a nice experience to see them in person and be able to talk about anything just like what we do here in myLot. Sometimes, when a person responds often on your topics, you feel like he'she is already a friend so it would be great to thank them personally.

I haven't.i really wanna meet someone from hthis site. But it seems as if no one here is from south Africa. Lets hope i'll meet someone one day! thanx

There's actually a user on here that I've become friendly with that lives near me that I wouldn't mind meeting in person. We seem to have a lot in common and are around the same age. I wouldn't make any overtures or anything, but if we ran into each other or something, I'd have no problems with it. I've met people from online in real before and made some amazing, long lasting friendships.

I wish i have one to meet here from mylot...

I haven't been here for more than 10 days, so it's a little early for that! But I have met lots of other people from other sites over the years, so I don't see why myLot would be any different. If you come across someone with whom you really get along well-- and it turns out your paths could reasonably meet somewhere-- I see no reason to not get together. I know some people operate under the belief that people online are not "real," but I have never followed that approach.
