try googling, or u find inspiration when you are lonely,
find quiet and calm places. i can create poem when im admire person, or when im alone in my bed room, then i grap my guitar and sing, and created some song. song is sometime become a good poem. or you can create love poem by listen, try listen to people that have problem, or your best friends, get in touch with the feeling when you are part of what they felt. great poem are something that you can feel what other feel, not what you feel, kind of mix up huh...
well, my great poem is a song to me, so song or a poem is same to me..

i think it depends on what type of poems you like. if you like the traditional ones, why not try those of Shakespeare's. It's kinda hard to read at first, but once you get used to the language, especially of that of the sonnets, you'll get to appreciate it so much. You can also try the Romantic poems of William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. John Keats, I have to say is a personal favorite among the Romantic poets of England.
The metaphysical works of John Donne, like "The Relique" and "Valedtion" are very good. His use of imagery sets him apart from the other poets of his time.
If you're more into conteporary, maybe you could try Walt Whitman's, Dickenson's or Plath's. their poems are very good too. sometimes, a bit wierd but that's what makes the poem really enjoyable to read.
happy reading!

when the wrong-doers (actually) see the penalty, then wilt it in no way be mitigated, nor will they then receive respite. -the bee85
