Is anything impossible?

I have been thinking alot lately about the word impossible...everyday, we face obstacles and adversiy that we look at and simply say "That's Impossible". The young couple who can't have a child. The accident victim that is told that walking is now impossible for him to do.
But God showed me a simple truth today. It's one i've heard a million times, but i don't think i ever actually believed it.
"For with GOD, nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37
Any of us who have grown up in church or know someone who has have probably heard this verse a plenty of times. But just like me, have you ever actually believed it?
Every now and then, mankind has been presented with dramatic examples of how powerful God is and how nothing is impossible.
One such instance occurred when a massive warrior stood before the army of Israel and challenged anyone who would dare to go against him. And as all Israel's warriors stood shaking in their armor, a teenager stepped up. He wasn't supposed to be their. Simply on an assignment for his dad, but he heard the words of this hulking menace. He heard his heritage being mocked and the name of His God being dragged through the sand; and he'd had enough. All it took was an untrained teenager, a rock, and a sling to slay a well-trained giant. What is impossible with God?
Fast forward a few thousand years. A mother sits by the bed of a young girl. Her tears gathering in the sand as she mourns the death of her daughter. But suddenly, there's a hand on her shoulder. And then a voice says softly, "it's ok. She is not dead but sleeping." Everyone who heard this laughed. Of course she was dead. But somehow, as he stood by her bed and took her hand in his, she arose. What is impossible with God.
Fast forward several thousand years. We see a church. Beatiful hymns flow from a joyful choir. Passionate words, the very words of God, thunder from the pulpit. And a man, kneeling at an alter. Formerly a self-proclaimed agnostic. Refused to even mention the name of God. And now, he finds himself knelt in submission to the only friend that has never left him. What is impossible with God?
Nothing. Its that simple. With God, the barren can give birth. The lame can walk, and the lost can be found.
