Which utility bills do you dread seeing the most? Water, electric, credit card, phone or other bills? Please elaborate why you feel that way. I personally hate seeing my electric bill, because it is so high already :) i'm trying to find a way to lower them. it has almost doubled for the last year.

I hate to see all my utility bills. hehehe. But can't do anything about it but to pay. You hate your electricity bill? You'll hate more when the summer comes.

I know!!! I was very glad about it last december coz i didn't use my aircon for the whole month since it was really cold and it really went down :) but the only time i didn't worry about it getting high was december since we didn't have any electricity for more than 2 weeks because of the typhoon and it was cut down to 1/4 of the regular billing.whew!!!

I spent 4,000 pesos on water and electricity, for telephone its 1,300, for DSL 999 and for Cable 375. I do not know I survived. I am retired. Before I put any food in my mouth I have to pay this utility bills. I wish I could cut off all this blood sucking thing.

wow, it was really cheap back in those days. but you also don't get to earn that much lol how i remember just having Php5.00 or $0.10 as my daily school money (baon). it can really make a student survive morning to afternoon recess already. but nowadays, it can buy only a piece of candy lol

We don not worry much on water bill since we are billed less than Php100.00 (about $2) per month and it is ok if we don not pay monthly, they won't cut off our water supply. We usually pay once or twice ayear only since it is really not much and the billing office is quite distant. It is the electric bill we dread seing each month. It is really expensive, i think, but of course other people pay much much higher than us. Anyways, there was this month when our electric wiring at home got non-functional like we can only turn on 1 light but all the sockets are good that we can still do things normally. We really thought we are "saving" a lot on electric bill that month but was really shocked to found out the bill was actually high.. higher when the wirings were ok. I noticed that using hot /cold water dispenser, daily ironing of clothes boosts up electriv bill specially when the thermostat of the dispenser is not in good condition. Also, in our area the power company has this really annoying tactic.. sudden power shortage/fluctuation like a sudden 2 second brownout!.. that really boost the electric meter reading.. that is how they 'rub' people of money by making us pay for the electricity we didn't actually used. Monthly regular phone bills is also not that expensive here , only about less that Php 300.00 ($6) it only gets expensive when there's an occasional long hours of long distance call.

i do believe sudden power shortage/fluctuation happens to most places here in our country. and if you will notice, it happens mostly when your billing date is near. that's how they really make the electricity bill rise up so that maybe they meet their forecast of their earnings. too bad nothing is yet invented to prevent such things.

Definitely electric bills. I can't decipher why that the less I use our electricity, the more the bills go up. I once tried to save electricity by cutting short usage of most of our electricity in my house. I was astonish when the billings arrived and the rate had doubly charged us.

that's really frustrating. i even tried switching the main power off when no ones at home about 2 months ago, for about 3 - 4 hours daily, but it didn't really help in reducing the charges. that's why it's the only bill i worry about since i can't control on its charges. even when you're trying to save electricity, you won't know if you're gonna get it lowered or them raising it up.

i used to have spend so much on my phone bill too. i used to talk a lot, and sometimes its overseas that sets it high. but after being in a serious relationship, it all faded and until now, i have lessened my usage and my bill dropped to less than half of what i used to have.

Most of my poor neighbors do not have electricity in their house. We have to go back to old times. I wish the moon is always full moon we do not need the electricity anymore.
