Yes, I used to work for one. A financial whizz kid who worked out masses amount of financial data for companies in order to save them money.

actuaries are experts in risk management and financial planning... they generally work in the insurance field calculating premiums and policies, but are also known to work in the banking and compensation fields... they are very good with stats and maths...
