Privacy is like trust. It is something you earn as a reward. I was about to talk about how to deal with a 15 year old. But I see that you are 19. At your age... it is not a problem. While you are entitle to your privacy... and I would demand it as a 19 year old... If you are still living with your parents... you still have to abide by their rules. And if you cannot reach a compromise with them... you are entitle to move out. This is the choice you have to make... and your parents have to make that same choice. So... this is the way it works... if what you are hiding from them is of very little importance... they will want you to stay and will agree to give you your privacy. But if what you are doing is wrong... they won't go along with you and will let you leave rather than supporting whatever you do. They would be bad parents for supporting your bad habits.

Some privacy, but also some guidance. You have to find something right in between.
