Yes of course, my most of the earnings are from posting and answering only. I have very few topics started here. I prefer to give response to only new and my friends' topics posted here. You can go ahead. It gives lot of money. Only you have to take care of quality responses. Avoid only thanks, yes or no answer. Have at least 4-5 lines answer.

I am still new in mylot so i dont really knows whats the in and out on this. But anyways even though that i am still new i am enjoying posting and making discussion. This is also a new way of having new friends around the world.

yes, you can earn by responding to discussions started by other users only. however, i feel, its a two way process and you should start our own discussions aswell. don't you feel by posting catch and quality discussions you can generate more and more responses and eventually more and more friends, who would bother to respond to your posts?? myLot pays us for this aswell. so no harm in posting your own.
you should always start your own discussions and respond simultaneously.
