Hey there,
I really think that depending on your age and situation it really depends, if you still in school then I think the best form of birth control is abstinence.
I would recommend that you not get the Depo shot. I've heard some pretty nasty things about this and also it completely screws up your hormones. You wouldn't be able to have kids for years if you got this shot so if you ever changed your mind.
I think that the best for and this is what my wife uses is the Marinia IUC. It's like an IUD but it's not permanent. You don't have a period as often as you normally do, it's good for 5 or 6 years and you can get it removed whenever so if you ever do change your mind on having kids it can be reversed.
I wouldn't recommend getting your tubes tied, because that is permanent, and you'd be screwed later in life if you ever decided that you actually wanted kids.

Abstinence! But inorder for it to work, one must have self-discipline. I worked for me and i was able to plan my family.
