Why some men lie to thier wives/partners.

Hello,
I always wonder why some men lie to their wives/partners even in serious matters like finance, relationship etc? I feel that hubby and wife both should carry of family cart equally. If one slows or fastens, the movement imbalances. Later, when wife relaizes that her hubby has lied her (in some serious matter), just imagine how she could feel? This is seed for misunderstanding between the couple. Has any one experienced this. Your responses are most welcome.

maybe men don't want to get caught in a fight with his partners then he decided to lie. they think this isn't big problem and doesn't deserves to fight of. but the women sometimes think the other way. so communication between men and his partner is important to avoid this

i onced had a boyfriend that lies to me all the time. And what's worse, he is a bad liar and you could literally tell whenever he's telling a lie or not. i think that he's lying just for me to calm down and make me think that things and our relationship are going okay when he's cheating. I think he's lying for his convinience to simply walk away with some cheat.
i do agree that there should be mutual carry in the relationship and if there is an imbalance, arguments arises, when unresolved, these arguments can turn to problems which gives a relationship some serious matter to deal with.
