positively speaking i can only say that If god helps you during the time of sorrow then it is because you are very down, if he doesnt help you then it is because he knows that you can handle it by yourself............ so just think that whatever is happening is happening for good............ it is difficult to face such situation but everyone in life will face hardtimes and they will overcome it............

Right now my parents are going through a divorce. You'd think that I'd be mad at God for making this happen to me again (this is the second divorce that I've been through, the first one being when I was a baby). All I do in trying times is remind myself that God's in control, and He knows what He's doing. There has to be a reason why He's doing this, and, since I can't even begin to imagine God's mind, I don't even try. I can't do anything but leave it alone and trust that God's gonna take care of me and the situation. And I've found that once you truly give it all up to God, you're filled with this awesome "peace that passes understanding". This is very real, and totally AMAZING! So, instead of fighting with Him, give Him your problems. How? Pray. Continuously. Pray about everything. That seems like a little much, but I'm serious. Tell Him everything. I used to think, "Well, it's God, He already knows about my problems; He doesn't need me to tell Him." When I actually told Him everything, though, that's when that peace filled me and I came to the realization that He was gonna handle it. But it took me completely giving it to Him for that to happen.

Well, I'd like to share my opinions with you.
If you believe in god, he does cause these bad things to happen. Because they are temporary in our entire time of being, and you learn from them. All the bad things that happen are to teach you. You become stronger, you become wiser, you have experience you can use to help others.
If your life was blessed with bad things, you were chosen to become one of the strongest people out there, a survivor, a person with more knowledge and strength than many others.
Thats what I think. Everything happens for a reason, even the most horrible. Gonig through something bad would benefit your soul by giving you strength for eternity, while a bad situation lasts less than a single lifetime.
That is my opinion, I hope it makes you think. I think it is a much more positive way to think than to blame bad things on yourself or "Satan". If you believe what I believe, you may be able to evaporate the underlying thought that Satan exists, that something so horrible would exist to hurt us.
I'm certainly not asking you to stop beleiving what you believe, I just want to share what I believe and how it has helped me get through life. I'm be glad to hear if you god anything out of my sharing this :)
The more trials we face and the harder they are, the more we have acomplished at the end.

Maybe your thinking it the other way around. Dont think of God as a burden to you. Actually he helps us in time of sorrow, just like you said. I know hes there for you, but you just busy thinking of your sufferings and not noticed that God is there with you. Dont lose faith in him. Always think of him and pray more when your in trouble. Believe first and then you will see.

Actually, even if we failed to give back our to Him, God is still there!!no matter how many times you hurt Him, God is still out there listening on whatever you are going to say!You can never lose faith to Him because that faith is IN there!!All you have to do is nurture it and keep the faith burning!!!To do it, you must believe in Him, that's simple and God will do the rest!!!

I'm not religious, but I think I can help.
You have to look at the bigger picture. Every single small and big things happens for a reason. The harder your life is, the stronger person you become because of it. If, like me, you believe in reincarnation, it could be possible that you decided you are ready for this lifetime beforehand, because you alraedy experienced the easier ones.
Have faith that nothing would happen to you if you wern't strong enough for it, and know that despite how bad things can be, every cloud has a silver lining. You will eventually get strength, knowledge, wisdom, and more out of it. Isn't that the goal in life, to get these things?
This is the way it happens sometimes, in my opinion. Look for that silver lining and have faith that nothing you can't handle would evr happen to you, because its true. Whatever happens happens for a reason so you can learn from it.
Hope that helps.

Maybe you are doing it backwards.....I know that for some Christians god speaks to them or is there for them during their worst times but maybe for those who dont feel him, he is waiting for you to believe in yourself and have faith in yourself...maybe he is trying to get you to feel that again rather than waiting for him to fix it for you so to speak....make sense?

Think in the positive way always, the first thing. And secondly think that It is God who gives You these bad times. He had Also given and gives you happy times. These bad times are a test from him that whether we act as in the happy moments or start complainig that Oh!!!! What has Happened to us?? Or Why it has happened to Us???? I think in these situation we should remain calm and patient and only think this soorow situation is also by God as the happy ones.

I'm sure it's not God's will to make you sad at life at times. I believe it's our own doing that led us to that reality. God was good to have given us life, we cannot expect more than that. We live our lives so it's up to us.

God does not make our lives sad. He wants us to be happy and full of joy. Yes, there will be times of sorrow and pain, but we need to lean on Him during those times. He is the great Comforter. He can and will help you if you will only ask Him and trust in Him.
We cannot blame God for all the bad things that go on. We sometimes choose to turn our backs on God and go our own way and when we do that, we hurt ourselves and sometimes other people.
Ask Jesus to help you. Only He can give you the joy and peace you are seeking. Only He can fill that void in your life.
God bless you!

It was in times of great sorrow and trials that i felt God's presence the strongest. I felt that he was knocking at my hearts door to let him enter. It is only through God and in the faith of his love for me that made me get up and pick-up the pieces.

well about this topic i can say is its natural that we fight with god if we are in great sorrow and we dont remember him once when we are in great happiness..actually saying it all depends on the confidence u pocess in ur will, faith, and destiny..always we should put our best possible efforts from our hands and remaining we should give to god to get blessed and hope for the best results possible..so god cannot do any miracles while u are in sorrow..we should try to calm down our self's by thinking that everyone will get sorrow moments and i am not the only one to feel...and while coming to god we have to keep confidence that someone there is a stronger force than us who is keeping us safe..ok
