Favourite in the Trilogy

Just wondering what everybody's favorite film was from the matrix trilogy. Mine is definitely the first one. I had watched the first film 30 or 40 times before the second one was released, and although I went to the cinema twice and bought it on DVD I didn't feel it was as good as the first. The same thing happened with the third.

The second one is amazing! But only because its so action packed. The first one is by far the best of them all because it really makes you think to understand whats going on. I STILL find myself stumbling upon new possibilities when it comes to the Matrix. And its almost a whole decade later!!

I would have to agree with you. I saw the first, which was absolutely revolutionary. The plot, the idea, the story; it was all great! And for once, Keanu Reeves actually looked like he could act. Then I saw the second one in the cinema, and there's no use saying I was disappointed. I've rarely seen such a bad film. They screwed up the plot so much that it looked more like sci-fi than possible reality. It lost most of its attraction and there was no point on watching it a second time. The third was the biggest disappointment, especially because I went to see it on my birthday. It just had to be seen to end the trilogy, but seriously, they should just have stuck to the first film.
