I don't think it's a good idea. Even 18 -20 would have been too young for me to marry. At that point kids (most kids) don't think long term, some don't even understand the concept of a life time. I didn't come into my own until at least 25-27. I think if 16-17 year old were to marry, the divorce rate would double.

For most people, I think it is too young. But I know a woman who was married at 15 and has had a long and happy marriage! She is probably the exception, though!

I think it is too young to get married before 18years of age. First of all it is not the legal age and i think 21 years and older is the best time. Getting married before 18 has many repurcussions the primary being the heaalth related issues. There are even greater risks if one becomes pregnant before 18years of age. Moreover the education is heavily disturbed and education is everything in todays world. Teenagers below 18 years will not be able to adjust to other facets of a married life easily and might not be able to take care of a family and take responsibility of the family.

i think it should not be allowed, teenagers are still growing up and are not a grown adult till there 18 years of age

I think that the people would have to be extremely mature for that. it is not something that I would suggest, but it is better than having them sleeping together and making a baby and not be married. Again, I would have to say maturity is King, there are people much older that get married and are the biggest kids.

I think 18 is too young and immature an age to get married and be faced with family life, responsiblities, possible parenthood and financial stability.

in my opinion, i think that marriage before eighteen years old is just too early and is not yet the right time to be in a marriage situation. I thnik that people with these ages still needs to do lots of preparations before engaging on a married life like finishing their studies and or acquiring a stable job that is gonna be giving them enough wages for them support ther newly lives. also, i think that people at this age are not yet emotionally and mentally ready for the strains and stresses marriage life has to offer, i have said this because i know for a fact that there will always be arguments no matter how the both love each other, there will simply be instances that they just can't see one another's views and this is really a great deal if they are not matured enough to handle things as such.

It's too early. You change so much from 18 to 30. Youre going to live until youre about 80 years old. You need to get some experience under your belt before settling into marriage.

as a teenager i feel it gud to have marriage before the age of 18 u knw.and dis is a mere suggestion frm me as my age permits dat.dnt take it as a blunder.

18 is way early to get married. and i dont think at that age they havent quite matured yet. marriage is not a walk in the park especially here in our place coz divorce here takes a lot of time and process. they should think about it. if i got pregnant and i love the guy, i will not agree to get married coz its really too early for marriage.
