Start with Gods word. The Holy Bible. There you will find Him since the begining of time.Open your heart to allow Him in and He will guide you.Talk to other christians as well and attend a good church that will offer love and fellowship. If your truly looking for God,you will find Him.

I think the search is still on and i it will go on till there are remnants of life on this earth. Well if we want to find god similar to what is mentioned in the holy books then i dont think we can find one. Only those people can find that god who have faith. And i dont think we will be able to find the god mentioned in the holy books even if we have faith because i feel we always dream that we found god because we believe in the holy books. The word god should be defined so that it is easier to find one. If we define god as one who created us and the earth, then is it really necessary to know him, do we try to know the name of the farmer because of whom we eat something or the tree and the crop which has given us the chance to survive. If we dont bother to look after the tree and the farmer, then why the creator. If god is defined as one who is all powerful, then is it reasonable to think that we may find and capture that all powerful in our eyes and mind which are nothing compared to the vastness of the universe which the creator has created. I think it is better to find god in people around us.

presence of god is directly proportional to faith
hence if u have faith god is there for u and if u dont have fauith he isnt there
