beautiful beaches in your country

in a few weeks, it's summer here in the Philippines. and in a fe months it'll be summer in most western countries. for me, summer always means i get to go to the beach and laze in the beautiful sand under the happy sun (aahhhh! i can't wait!)
the Philippines has so many beautiful beaches since it's composed of a thousand plus islands. the most popular beaches that i know of though are boracay, panglao, palawan, puerto galera, and siargao (for surfing).
i was wondering, what are the beautiful beaches in your country?

you didnt include the samal islands of Davao.. :) well just promoting a little coz i am from davao. :) well nice thread you got here.. :) hope you post some good beaches too.. i really wanna know more.. ;P God bless ^_^

oh sorry, i didn't know about the samal islands. i guess our country is really home to a lot of beautiful beaches. no wonder a lot of foreigners like to visit the country. thanks for adding that.

i have never been to Boracay... i want to go there, i'm curious, i want to know what it's like... i'm planning to go there with my friends hopefully this coming May or June... i also heard that Palawan and Bohol has good beaches...

boracay is beautiful. problem is, it's too popular here that it gets too crowded during the peak seasons. but the sand, the beach is just wondeful.
i've never been to palawan too but i've heard a lot of good things about it. bohol on the other hand is almost home to me. i fly in every year. their beaches are like boracay but less crowded. beautiful.

i've never heard of baga beach in india so i did a search on the internet it does look nice. the sand isn't very white but the shoreline is so wide and clean which i like. thanks for sharing that. :)
