In our company, every year we have this medical exam. We had just finished our x-ray. I was so surprised when i found out the result. It says that i have a "slight thoraco scoliosis". Can anyone here answer what is the cause of scoliosis? Do any of you suffer from this? How can we fight this?

I have idiopathic scoliosis, meaning they have no clue why I have it. Sometimes people develop scoliosis after an injury, their muscles screw up their spine. I'm not an expert since it's been awhile since I've been in scoliosisland lol, but I did end up needing surgery after I was done growing, otherwise the doctors said my spine would have pushed against my heart and lungs. I was also in braces before that, it helps some people to correct it, but not me of course!

You've had a surgery? It seems like you're not afraid. Do you mean that there's nothing to worry about? Because I can see no fear in you response. Can you give me more advice?

I have an scoliosis and it is very painful. I think proper posture is the best curing and prevention of scoliosis.

Yes its really painful. I'm feeling it now unlike before. And I get too tired easily. When did you know you had scoliosis?

Even i suspect that im having scoliosis. I have this asymmetric body shape. After all my research on internet i belive 'Short leg syndrome' might be the culprit. I haven't met a doctor yet.
