Would you want to be famous?

How many people out there would love to be famous, and why? I myself would not like to be famous at all. constantly being harrassed by paparazzi, pressure to 'perform'. It is now becoming a common occurance of celebrities being in rehab, or finding it hard to cope. I know people in life today, who aren't in the limelight, have the same problems, but why put yourself through it in front of everyone to see you. Being famous has some fantastic up sides, but has some huge downsides, it is a risk you have to take i suppose. Your views please ....
