What Dean Koontz book really scared you?

Tell us what novel by Dean Koontz really made you scared. Why and what did you do?

none of them...I am a huge Koontz fan but I'm not the type to get scared easily let alone by reading a book...I think some of my favs by him though are The Door to December, Watchers, Phantoms and Mr.Murder....

Phantoms is the one that scared me the most. I read it when I was 13 and got so scared that when I went to the bathroom I had to pull the shower curtain back, look in the cabinet and the medicine chest before I could use the potty!

None of his books have really scared me, more like held my interest. One of my favorite books written by Koontz was Intensity. It kept me up late at night reading on the edge of my seat and it was very intense.
I haven't read a book of his that I didn't like. All the ones that I have read have been mysterious with original plots. They really grip my attention, but no, not scary.
