Which one gets paid more?

I am learning my ways around here in mylot and I would like to ask the experts here as to which one gets paid more? Do you get paid more for discussions with no responses or those high traffic discussions? Do you also get paid in commenting the responses in your own discussion? What about when you send comments instead of a response in some discussions? Thanks in advance for those who will share.

The guidelines state that you are paid based on your participation. They also state that responding to everyone that responds to your discussion will not help you earn more. It now looks like I get a point for my discussion when the first person responds. Not sure though. I think that all you can do to participate in all aspects of this site will enable you to earn while you learn and share.
3 or more lines of response each time you respond to a discussion.
Use the plus signs that helps others. They should be helping you.
Rate your responders according to guidelines.
Try not to use the minus site, unless for hate or really bad activity.
The ! site is to report someone that is harming Mylot in some way. They will ask for the reason you are reporting.

I'm only guessing here as I don't believe anyone really knows the way the pay system works here at mylot. If you start a discussion and it doesn't get any responses, I don't believe you get paid for it. I do think if the discussion becomes popular, you get paid a little more, though not a little more per post, just a little more (4 cents instead of 3 maybe). We do not get paid for commenting on responses, only for discussions started (with at least one response) and responses we make to other discussions. Hope this helps :)

i really don't know how they do the computation. and actually, i don't care. as long as i'm posting my own topics and commenting on others that interests me, and i'm earning regularly. lol.
what i do know is that you earn more if your comments are rated positive, and if you've uploaded images on your topics.
also the comments you add in the responses from your own discussions are not counted as your post. glad you had 58 alreay.

I still consider myself a newbie here in myLot. Since myLot, did not specify how we got paid for different activities, I've done some experimentations. There are days when I would devote my time to posting new discussions. This was during my early days and I've discovered that I earn one cent from each response that I got. However, one of my friends who happened to have more than 200 responses from three post got only a few cents. So my first theory got debunked. Next, I tried rating responses only. This doesnot earn me dollars. I've just learned that I can post images with my discussions. This seems to be the goldmine. The photos got me a few cents only. But it seems to increase my earnings per discussion regardless of the number of responses it got. I hope some of this may help you. And should you discover new things try to keep me and the others updated.
